Scope of Works: Reconstruction of the Main Roundabout at the Whakatane River Bridge.
- Design, approval, and implementation of a comprehensive Traffic Management Plan.
- Installation and maintenance of environmental controls throughout the project.
- Implementation of a site-specific Health and Safety Management Plan.
- Site clearance and earthworks, including cutting to waste/fill, milling, and compaction testing.
- Installation of drainage and concrete structures such as culverts, catchpits, manholes, vertical kerbs and channels, nib kerbs, reinforced concrete apron islands, splitter islands, concrete driveways, shared-use concrete footpaths, pram crossings, kerbs, and tactile pavers.
- Site preparation using geofabric and grid separation layers, followed by subbase/subgrade and in-situ cemented layers.
- Night shift pavement works, including the supply and installation of asphalt layers with a membrane seal, following NZTA specifications.
- Completion of the project with line marking, road signs, streetlights, keystone retaining wall, topsoil, grassing, and bollard installation.
